2025 KIGT FORMAT & SCORING

Friday @ Gallagher’s Canyon

  • Format: Same as last year, “Scramble” all the way. Everyone drives off their appropriate tee, select the best shot; then everyone hits from there; continue all the way to hole, selecting best shot each time until holed out.
  • Tee off: Men off black tees; Retirees off blue; Ladies off white tees
    • For teams with 3 players, please alternate through team for taking the “4th persons” shot each hole (so not always using same persons shot )
  • Must use at least 3 drives from all players.
  • Long Drive Holes: for Men, Retirees and Ladies on hole 6 & 10
  • KP holes: for Men, Retirees and Ladies on hole 8, All groups on hole 16
  • Event holes: Hole-in-one prize on hole 3, Guess your distance on hole 1
  • Refreshments and BBQ: On holes 1, 3, 10 & 15. BBQ on hole 16
  • All Par 3’s: There is no Deuce pot today, so play the same as rest of the holes
  • Scoring: Team captain totals team score each hole and submits card to pro shop when complete
  • Pace of Play: is 5-1/2 hours. PLEASE. Only spend 1 minute looking for errant balls & keep up to the group in front of you!

Saturday @ The Bear (OK Golf Club)

   4-Person Modified Scramble (same as last year)

  • Game Format: Same as last year, everyone drives off his or her tee;
    • For Par 4’s and 5’s: Choose the best ball off the tee & then play your own ball from there until ball is holed out. Minimum 2 drives per person. Teams of 3 can may use an extra drive per hole.
    • All Par 3’s (Deuce Pot): Everyone must play his or her own ball until holed out!
  • Tee Off: Men tee off black tees, Retirees off silver, Ladies off red tees.
  • Long Drive Holes: Men’s 9 & 18, Retirees 9 & 18, Ladies 9 & 18
  • KP holes: for Men, Retirees and Ladies on holes 6 & 14
  • Event holes: Hole-in-one prize on hole 11, Guess your distance on hole 1, Beat-the-Pro and more on hole 4
  • Refreshments and BBQ: On holes 4, 9, 11 & 15. BBQ on hole 4
  • Scoring: Modified Stableford. Team captain marks down gross scores on every hole; then subtracts the # of ticks for each player to get the net scores, calculate points as per below using the net scores.
    • 0 points for net bogey & above
    • 1 point for a net par
    • 3 points for a net birdie
    • 5 points for a net eagle
      Captain then totals points at the bottom of scorecard for each hole. Total up & hand in the scorecard to the pro shop at end of round
